Womeness in the wilderness is held the first Saturday of each month as a way to encourage women to enjoy the outdoors and connect with other women in the area.

Details:

– We will meet at an accessible trailhead in Idaho City with direction location and directions to be emailed as we get closer to day of event.

 

What to bring:

– Snowshoes (with snowboots), snow poles. Snowshoes can be rented with a 10% discount from McU Sports by calling (208) 336-2300 and mentioning Womeness Community – Genevieve. We recomment reserving at least 2 weeks in advance to ensure availablity

– Waterproof gear & winter gear (coat, pants, gloves, warm socks, liners, thermals, layers, hats, ear warmers, hand warmers, etc.)

– Water (hydration!)

– Sunglasses / Sunscreen

– Wear comfortable layers in case you get warm or need to warm up

– Snacks
