Womeness in the Wilderness is held monthly as a way to encourage women to enjoy the outdoors and connect with other women in the area. Location and experience changes monthly. Location: Avimor Trails (we’ll meet by the Avimor Tennis Courts)

Cost: Free (with option to donate to Womeness Community non-profit)
Details:
Join us Saturday, April 8th for a 60 minute all abilities hike, meditation, & trail cleanup with our community. Bring your friends, family, or come as you are and be a part of our community. Dogs are welcome, but must be on leash, owner has clean up bags accessible, and get along well with other dogs and people. We will meet at the Avimor Tennis Courts and start our walk together promptly at 10:00 am.Please bring layers and comfortable walking shoes while we spend the morning getting outside and connecting with women in the community. Womeness will be there rain or shine and will communicate via email and social media with any updates. In case of poor condition of trails, we will take a walk along the Avimor park pathway to help preserve Idaho’s trails.We welcome and celebrate all bodies and abilities. Come as you are, be welcomed as you are, feel empowered as you are.
Womeness In the Wilderness is a financially inclusive series, meaning cost is free with option to donate. All donations go directly towards the operations of Womeness Community to continue to put on events and create accessible content to empower women.
What to bring:
– Comfortable clothes you can move in (Mornings can be chilly, but you will warm up quickly on this hike)
– Bag and gloves for trail cleanup
– Wear layers in case you get warm
– Water (hydration)
– Sunglasses/ Sunscreen
– Leash & doggy bags (if you are bringing your pup or want to help clean up along the trails!)
Parking:
Parking is located at the tennis courts. We encourage carpooling and allowing extra time as we will start promptly at 10:00 am.
