A space for women to connect in the outdoors and empower one another.
Womeness in the Wilderness is held monthly as a way to encourage women to enjoy the outdoors and connect with other women in the area. Location and experience changes monthly. Location: Quinn’s Pond (we’ll meet in front of the Women’s Bathroom by Quinn’s Pond under the tree. Look for the bright colors worn by Womeness!)

Cost: Free (with option to donate, proceeds go towards the operation of Womeness and creating accessible opportunities to empower women through mindfulness, movement, and community)

Join us Saturday, August 12th for a day out on the water with our community. Bring your friends, family, or come as you are and be a part of our community. We will meet under the tree outside the Women’s restroom at Quinn’s Pond and head out on the water at 10:30 am.
Please wear something you can move comfortably, water, and a stand up paddle board. Paddle boards available to rent through Idaho River Sports (located at Quinn’s Pond).
Paddle board rental information: Idaho River Sports has kindly offered Womeness a rental rate of $25 per a paddle board for the first hour, with $5 per 30 minutes after that. Please email [email protected] if you plan on renting a board day of so we can help Idaho River Sports plan accordingly. (Cost to rent paddle board is separate from any donations through Eventbrite, all donations via Eventbrite go directly towards the operations of Womeness.) Thank you!
Join us as we spend the morning outside, connecting with women in the community. Womeness will be there rain or shine and will communicate via email and social media with any updates.
We welcome and celebrate all bodies and abilities. Come as you are, be welcomed as you are, feel empowered as you are.
Womeness In the Wilderness is a financially inclusive series, meaning cost is free with option to donate. All donations go directly towards the operations of Womeness Community to continue to put on events and create accessible content to empower women.
What to bring:
– Comfortable clothes you can move in
– Water (hydration)
– Sunglasses/ Sunscreen
– Standup paddle board (board available to rent via Idaho River Sports. Please email [email protected] if you plan on renting a board day of so we can help Idaho River Sports plan accordingly. Parking:
Parking is located at the park. We encourage carpooling and allowing extra time as we will start promptly at 10:30 am.
